I've said it before and I'll scream it from the rooftops every day, very few things beat the magic of a northern Michigan proposal! Evan and his parents contacted me a few weeks before his planned vacation with Anna's family - the little surprise, she had no idea Evan's parents were also there, or that he had an even bigger surprise in mind!
When I got off the ferry I met with his parents first, to get to the secret garden and get them hidden away while Evan and her family kept Anna distracted from noticing anybody else around. Finally, they made their way to the secret garden, and everything went from there. The proposal, the surprise of the whole family being there, the excitement. Both families were so sweet and excited to share this moment all together. It was perfect!
