Growing up in Northern Michigan, I was never far from the woods or water. Being outside wasn’t a trip or destination - it was simply where I grew up and life happened. The Great Lakes, old-growth trees, the way the sky lights up - even at night - and the changing seasons all felt familiar long before I ever carried a camera.

I find myself revisiting these places often. The hum of earth reminding you it’s alive, the sound of waves washing over the beach, and air bristling through the trees settles my mind and have always felt steady. Out there, my thoughts slow down, I breathe easier, and I feel the most alive.

This collection of photographs comes from a habit of exploring and returning - moments shaped by weather, season, and time rather than planning. Not distant landscapes, but the places that continue to feel like home - the ones I never really want to leave.
