I offer full planning support and proposal photography throughout Northern Michigan and the Upper Peninsula — from choosing the right time and location to refining the details that make it feel effortless and personal.
My approach is experience-focused first, staying hands-off until after the “yes” so your proposal can unfold naturally, without interruption or pressure, keeping the focus on real emotions and honest connection, documenting the moment exactly as it happens.

The Process

After you submit the inquiry form, we’ll find time to connect and discuss your vision for the day — locations, timing, and all the little details. This is your chance to share ideas, ask questions, or simply brainstorm a plan together.

Before the day of, I’ll help refine the plan. Scout out locations, confirm dates/time, coordinate logistics, etc. to help ensure your day runs smoothly and easy any stressors.

I’ll be available for anything you may need leading up to the moment. The day of, I’ll be in place before you arrive and capturing the moment as it unfolds. Staying out of the way so your focus is on each other, not the camera.

I always leave some time for you two to soak in the moment together. Once you’re ready, we’ll do some engagement portraits to celebrate and capture the excitement of being newly engaged.

While you head off together to celebrate, I’ll get right to work on delivering your sneak peek (usually within a few hours), of about 5-7 images sent directly to you.

Within 4-5 weeks you’ll receive a text and email letting you know your gallery is done - fully curated, edited and ready to view, download and share with your loved ones.

Absolutely! I love to travel and explore new places. Locations within 50 miles of Mackinaw City, MI are included. If you are planning a proposal beyond that, please reach out for schedule and travel availability and a personalized quote.

I’ll help with choosing a location, timing the light just right, and making sure the setup works perfectly. If you need ideas for a special touch—like a picnic, champagne toast, or a stargazing moment—I’m happy to help with recommendations!

Michigan weather can be unpredictable, but we’ll have a backup plan in place! Light rain or snow can add a unique and romantic touch, but if the forecast calls for heavy rain, strong winds, or anything that might disrupt the moment, we’ll have a plan to adjust as needed—whether that means shifting the time, choosing a more sheltered location, or rescheduling if possible.
