FAQ

I'm sure there are a ton of questions to ask, and you are always more than welcome to contact me so I can personally help answer any and all of them that you may have! I love to talk, but to make things a little easier, I put together some of the most commonly asked questions and answers to help out.

What do the session fees cover?

Session fees listed in the investment guide cover everything from pre-session consultations, the time of the session, retouching and delivery of digital images in an online gallery.

Not included in regular sessions are: hair & make up, any location/travel fees (for example, sessions on Mackinac Island do not include tickets, taxi, etc.), or prints, wall art, etc. which must be purchased separately. 


What is a consultation? 

We will set up a consultation either in person or over the phone to discuss the details of your session, answer any questions and gather information to create a custom experience just for you. 


Can we use these photos in the yearbook, newspaper, etc?

Absolutely! In your gallery I will include a print release for you to use should it be asked for! Should you or they have any questions or need anything further, both parties are welcome to contact me so I can get you what you need!


What props should I bring to my session?

Bring along the things that are special to you. Do you love playing basketball? Is the saxophone your jam? Do you absolutely adore painting? Have a beloved pet? Bring them along too!

These are some of the things to think about and we will pin point what to bring along during your consult. 


I'm from (somewhere far away) can I still book with you?

Absolutely! Up North is a beloved vacation spot for many people and I would love to capture your senior year for you here!

How do I join the Senior Rep Program?

Senior representatives are picked between March and May, for more information, please check out our Senior Representatives home page


Do you offer hair & makeup?

Currently, I do not. However I can recommend some fabulous hair and makeup stylists I've worked with in the past!


What if it rains/snows/something else Michigan does?

In the event of inclement weather, we will reschedule. For things such as light rain or snow, depending on place/style of your session we can still totally rock the weather. If/when the time comes, we will discuss and decide whether we should proceed or reschedule then. 

There is no rescheduling fee in these events.


What if I need to reschedule for non-weather related events?

I allow a one-time rescheduling should something come up. After the first time there is a $35 reschedule fee each occurrence.
